Home inspectors committed to education and a higher standard for home inspections have formed the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and organized it into Chapters. ASHI was founded in 1976 and is North America’s oldest and most respected professional society of home inspectors.
The states of Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, and Kentucky are served by home inspectors of the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI. All efforts are directed to improve the quality of home inspections for our clients, to do so we learn and keep up with the evermore sophisticated details of the American Dream Home. Certified Level I Thermographer
The Snell Group’s Certification Standard follows the American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) guidelines. In order to receive certification, a participant must attend an in-depth course that covers the theory and applications of infrared thermography in the preventive maintenance, quality assurance, condition monitoring and non destructive testing of materials fields. This course fully meets the educational requirements for certification in accordance with Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A, as defined by the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing.
